At SACOMA we recognize that the provision of information, advice and guidance (IAG) for learning and work is critical to the government’s achievement of key targets relating to skills development, training and employment – and therefore to the nation’s future productivity and economic success. SACOMA we are well placed to influence and add value to the delivery of Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) services to reach out to the hard to reach communities. We deliver our IAg services through our drop-in Centres in East London and West London. We also conduct community outreach activities, awareness raising events, workshops and conferences including open days.

- Health (especially sexual health and HIV/AIDS)
- NASS,
- Family Re-union,
- Benefits,
- Schools
- Harassment ,
- Conversion of qualifications, into UK Equivalent qualifications
- Employability, CV Writing, job Search and other support on filling in application forms including advocacy , translation and interpretation.
Our IAG services are unique and:
Are Accessible and Visible and delivered by Professional and Knowledgeable staff who have the skills and knowledge to address the client's needs.
- Have Links and, where necessary, clients are supported in their transition between services.
- Are availability, of Quality and are targeted at the needs of clients.
- Are diverse and have a range of activities to reflect the diversity of clients' needs from unemployed, to the employed and SMEs.
- Are impartial and are aimed at supporting clients to make informed decisions based on the client's needs and circumstances.
- Are responsive to the present and future needs of clients.
- Are friendly and welcoming.
- Are enabling and encourage and support clients to become independent by enabling them to access and to use mainstream services.
- Are linked to Learning and Work. The SACOMA careers and guidance services are linked to our training and business start up support services to support clients to explore the implications for both learning and work and their future career plans.
