VOLUNTEER FOR THE COMMUNITY

If you have some spare time and would like to do something for your community, we need you!

SACOMA is currently running a Volunteering Programme mainly focusing on developing young people between the ages of 16 to 25 years old.

The programme involves:

1. Help with information on housing and sexual health matters like  HIV & AIDS
2. Referrals to colleges and further education
3. Orientation, motivational and advice workshops
4. Job placement with voluntary organisations, small businesses and statutory bodies
5. Outreach advice & Guidance in the community

The Benefits of the Programme include

1. Ongoing support and mentoring
2. Awareness of UK culture and employment
3. Build your self esteem and confidence
4. Receive certificates and Awards of Excellence as Millennium Volunteers
5. Gain work experience in our offices and other employers
