VOLUNTEER FOR THE COMMUNITY
If you have some spare time and would like to do something for your community, we need you!
SACOMA is currently running a Volunteering Programme mainly focusing on developing young people between the ages of 16 to 25 years old.
The programme involves:
- Help with information on housing and sexual health matters like HIV & AIDS
- Referrals to colleges and further education
- Orientation, motivational and advice workshops
- Job placement with voluntary organisations, small businesses and statutory bodies
- Outreach advice & Guidance in the community
The Benefits of the Programme include

- Awareness of UK culture and employment
- Build your self esteem and confidence
- Receive certificates and Awards of Excellence as Millennium Volunteers
- Gain work experience in our offices and other employers
